Our little tree is finally up! We have both been so sick for the last two weeks that it was not possible until just now. Even though I picked it up from the storage unit right after Thanksgiving. Mr. P was still laid up with a cough so I had to decorate it alone, which I kind of prefer. I use to be a Visual Presentation specialist for several department stores over many years. When we would go about setting up Christmas in the store it was usually at 5 AM. Each of us would convert one section of the store. So it would be just me in the men's department with a whole bunch of carts filled with little trees in a dark store. It sounds lonely, but actually it was kind of nice and meditative working by the lights of the Christmas trees singing to myself. In any case the tree is up, and I feel VERY accomplished! When Mr. P finally woke up and walked out he pretty much walked right passed it in his groggy state. So I made him go back and do a re-take. He walked back into the bedroom, came back out, rubbed his eyes sleepily, and did the best shocked Christmas joy face I have ever seen. I wish I had taken a picture, the man just kills me. So despite illness, and numerous netflix documentaries trying to dampen my holiday spirit I got the tree up and sparkling with cheer. Now we will see what Mr. P does to it while I'm sleeping. Last year I woke up to it being invaded, and occupied by star wars lego action figures. I'm hoping for a repeat this year.
Welcome to my little corner of the internet. This is my space where I can showcase my obsession with paper crafting, and a few products I've cooked up along the way. Thank you so much for stopping by.
