Isn't this the most adorable flower made with tattered flowers die! And it has a clothes pin on the back so you can put it on a tree, or in a wreath, and just wear it around. Sooooooo cute! I just love it. I found it on pinterest, and the person who makes it has adorable projects on her blog. Take a look.
So I'm still in the middle of my obsession with anemones. I've been trying to find a tutorial for making paper ones, and so far ruffledblog has a pretty good one. I'll have to find some time to make some this weekend. Although I know that if I start making them before I know it my whole living room with be filled with them.
Wow! This is a REALLY good flower. And I should know becasue if you have seen any of my blog it's obvious that I am completely obsessed with making paper flowers. She made it with the Tim Holtz tattered florals die. So pretty! I love the blue paper. I think that might be Stampin up Pool party paper, but I could be wrong. But I do LOVE that color with the burgundy leaves.
WOW!!! This is an Amazing tutorial for making your own birdcage veil!
Can you tell yet that I'm completely obsessed with making paper flowers? These remind me of the crepe paper flowers my Mom use to bring back all the time from Mexico.
This is my new favorite way to do pom poms! So simple, I love it. Thank you Sarah Ortega for posting it. She also has a great post on making satin flowers.
Look pretty flowers made with book pages. There is also a great garland, and some home decor all made with book pages in this post by Tip Junkie (http://www.tipjunkie.com/post/book-pages/). I just love the light blue paired with the brown, and the newspaper. It all looks so cute together. I've been trying to find a whole bunch of projects to try with Fringe Scissors I just bought a pair, and I can't wait to try them out. These were made easy enough by taking a strip of printed paper from a book or newspaper, I think I would probably use one of my background stamps that looks like a page in a book like Hero Arts Cling Stamp, Thank You Definition. She then fringe cut along the whole strip, and rolled it up into a flower. She has really good pictures of the process on her post so take a look when you get the chance. I am completely obsessed with making paper flowers, not realistic ones but fun ones. So this one ranks among my my new favorites.
Welcome to my little corner of the internet. This is my space where I can showcase my obsession with paper crafting, and a few products I've cooked up along the way. Thank you so much for stopping by.
