Just a very simple fun Halloween card with some Tim Holtz dusty concord distress ink, and Sizzix framelets
When I need a sympathy cards I usually buy them. It's just too hard for me to be creative when I'm grieving. But when I sat down to write out the cards I realized that I was short one card. And I really, really wanted to send them out as so as possible. It's one of those things that if I put it off one night then I probably won't get back to it for a week because its a hard thing to do. And you really have to be in the right frame of mind to write a sympathy card. So I started making one and of course my mind went totally blank. Grief and creativity just don't mix in my head. So I started looking through my stash to see what I could build upon. I was really lucky I had a note card already made up with script stamping on it. It was from another project that I never finished, but it was a starting place and when I went to pick up the card the stamped feather, and the Tim Holtz thinking of you sentiment fell out of the same box. A little serendipity, or divine intervention saved the day, my creative sparked, and the card was born. So thank you serendipity and Tim Holtz for making this whole process easier.
Yes! I will absolutely be making this SOON!!! Thank you Pinterest for the Dark chocolate salted caramel oreo pie recipe!
WOW! Isn't this a fun idea for those pumpkins they sell at Michael's! I really love the look of white pumpkins, and I love the idea of painting them up with gold polka dots. But the witch cameo, and trick or treat is even cuter! Also, having the back have Fall greetings on them so you can put them out in September, then just switch them around in October is just GENIUS!!! Thank you so much pinterest for showing me this idea. This is next on my holiday to do list!
